Moody Morning at the Dark Hedges

Moody Morning at the Dark Hedges

I couldn't believe my eyes when I arrived at the Dark Hedges early on the last morning of September. A thick mist hung over the entire Causeway Coast that morning, and as the sun fought its way through the fog, it lit up the road through the Dark Hedges. (These trees were planted along a boulevard by the Stuart Family in the 1800s that have since grown over the road and linked themselves together, and are most famous for their role as the Kingsroad in season 2 of "Game of Thrones.") This is the moodier version -- and as much as I love the colour version, I feel like the sepia tone has a very different and unique feel to it.
