Wind-Whipped Summit
When they put a sign at the bottom of the Banff Gondola saying there were "extreme conditions" at the top, they weren't lying. When we arrived to the top, we found snow being whipped up the sides of the mountain by high winds and -25ºC temperatures. No wonder my parents chose to stay inside with a cup of hot chocolate.
