Technicolour Sunset

Technicolour Sunset

Smoke isn't always ideal for photos; my shots from Spirit Island, where I was on a ferry back from when I took this shot, are evidence of that. However, as soon as the sun starts to creep towards the horizon, the world turns a crazy mix of orange and red hues, and the thick haze even appears to turn the mountains into unnatural colours. Add to that an already unnaturally-coloured lake (Maligne Lake) and you get a pretty crazy technicolour scene.
