Helicoptering Over Sørfjorden
When I flew into Bergen the day before to meet my parents, I sat at the window seat and gazed out at the fjords surrounding Norway's second-largest city in awe. When I arrived, I joked to my parents that we should go for a helicopter ride to see the scenery the next day. Despite the fact that my mother is terrified of heights, they eagerly agreed, which is how I found myself in a helicopter over Indre Arna and Sørfjorden, just outside Bergen, the next day!
