The Solar Storm and the Radioactive Snow
A solar storm on St Patrick's Day 2013 created auroras so strong over Finnish Lapland that they actually made the snow glow green! This was taken on a tour to Kätkävaara that I signed up for at the last minute in hopes of getting out of the city and really seeing the storm. I'm so glad I did!
