Fear, Thy Name is Rosella
I took this picture in the lorikeet feeding area at O'Reillys, which is a retreat situated in Lamington National Park near the Gold Coast. The lorikeets and rosellas had no fear and landed on anybody that stood still. Unfortunately for this little girl, her dad stood in one place for just a moment too long! I love how the crimson rosella actually looks menacing here...which she must have been able to sense because she burst into tears seconds after I took this!
